Achman ("Achman", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Achman mobile application (the "App"), a devotional platform that connects users with verified pandits for pooja bookings and consultations, and offers Kundli, horoscope, panchang, live darshan, and AI-based spiritual guidance. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account details: mobile number (used for OTP login), name, email, gender, address, and profile photo (optional).
- Birth details: date, time, and place of birth that you enter to generate your Kundli, horoscope and matchmaking (Gun Milan) reports.
- Bookings & consultations: the poojas you book, addresses for home poojas, and messages exchanged with pandits.
- User content: ratings and reviews you write for pandits, and questions you ask Achman Saarthi.
- Support: information you share when you contact us.
Information collected automatically
- Location: approximate location, only if you grant permission, to show your local panchang and muhurat. You can decline this.
- Device & usage: device type, app version, and basic usage/diagnostic data to keep the App reliable.
- Push token: a device push token to send you booking, call and reminder notifications.
Payments
Payments are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not collect or store your full card, UPI or bank credentials; these are handled directly by the payment provider.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the App's services — connect you with pandits, take bookings, generate Kundli/horoscope/panchang, enable calls and chat, and process payments.
- To send booking updates, call alerts, reminders and important notices.
- To provide AI guidance through Achman Saarthi.
- To keep the community safe — detect, review and act on abuse, fraud and objectionable content.
- To provide customer support and improve the App.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third parties to operate the App. They receive only the data needed for their function:
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Prokerala — astrology, Kundli and panchang calculations.
- Google (Gemini) — powering Achman Saarthi's AI responses.
- YouTube / Google — devotional videos shown in Achman Darshan are streamed from YouTube under its terms.
- Apple Push Notification service & Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivering notifications.
4. How We Share Information
- With pandits you book or consult — the details necessary to fulfil your booking (e.g. name, service, and address for a home pooja).
- With service providers listed above, strictly to run the App.
- For legal reasons — where required by law or to protect rights, safety and prevent fraud.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Community Guidelines, Content & Safety Zero tolerance
Achman lets users post reviews and communicate with pandits through in-app chat and calls. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. The following are prohibited: harassment, hate speech, sexual or vulgar content, threats, spam, fraud, impersonation, and any unlawful content.
To keep everyone safe, the App provides:
- Report: you can report any review, message or user that violates these guidelines.
- Block: you can block a user or pandit so they can no longer contact you.
- Moderation: we filter and review reported content and act within 24 hours — removing violating content and suspending or banning users who abuse the platform.

6. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must retain it by law.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- Access & correction: view and edit your profile in the App.
- Account deletion: you may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing dharmendra.achman108@gmail.com.
- Permissions: you can turn location, notifications, camera and microphone permissions on or off in your device settings.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
